Personally Identifying Information Collected Through Cloud Commerce Pro

When Cloud Commerce Pro is connected to your sales channels, the system may receive information related to customer orders (“Confidential information”) which is not known to the general public.

Confidential information consists of:

  • Data ‘owned’ by the operators of the sales channel (Amazon, eBay, your own eCommerce channels, etc.)
  • Customer personal data owned by the respective customer (“Personally Identifying Information”).

Confidential information shall be kept confidential between you, us, and the owners of the data.

We recognise that Personally Identifying Information is provided to us for use only as is reasonably necessary to operate the Cloud Commerce Pro service, and to you for use only as is reasonably necessary for the operation of your business. We will not, directly or indirectly, disclose Personally Identifying Information to any individual, company, or other third party except as required to comply with legislation.

In addition, we will take all reasonable measures to protect your customers’ Personally Identifying Information against any use or disclosure not deemed reasonably necessary to operate our service.

We will not use Personally Identifying Information in any press release or other public statement, and we will retain it only for so long as its continued use is necessary to ship orders or handle customer service using the tools in the Cloud Commerce Pro system, or to fulfil requests for information to governmental entities with jurisdiction over us, where information shall be disclosed to the minimum necessary with explicit confirmation of the confidential nature of the information.

Amazon Specific Information for Personally Identifying Information.  In line with Amazon's policies, we will automatically remove all Personally Identifying Information relating to Amazon orders on the 30th day after dispatch of the order.  The data will be stored in a secure cold storage area not accessible in Cloud Commerce Pro in the event that you require it for tax audit purposes.

In all instances, we undertake to delete or place into secure archives this information, in light of its confidential nature, once its use is complete.
